Travel Recommendations

  • Flights to Bordeaux airport are often more expensive than other cities close by. If the ticket price is cost prohibitive, look for flights to a major hub like Paris, London, Barcelona. From there tickets for local European airlines to Bordeaux are often reasonably priced. If you fly to Paris, there is a high speed rail connection that will get you to Bordeaux within 2 hours.

  • UPDATE: We will now be providing a shuttle bus that will take everone directly from Bordeaux to the Chateau. We will depart from the Gare de Bordeaux-Saint-Jean train station promptly at 2pm. Please be on the look out for an email shortly arranging pickup. If you are renting a car, there is plenty of parking at the Chateau and check in will open at 3pm.

  • Good news for American and European citizens – no visa is required for travel to France! As a friendly reminder, it's always a good idea to double-check your country's travel requirements. And while you're at it, take a peek at your passport expiration date too!

  • To ensure everyone reaches the destination with smiles, we’ll be setting up a Travel Google Docs. This will not only helps us assist you in getting to your destination, but also serves as a fantastic way to connect with other guests. Feel free to use it to buddy up, share travel plans, and embark on the journey together!

  • Our wedding day will be a black-tie affair, so we invite all our guests to dress in their finest. Gentlemen, please don those dapper tuxedos; if you need to rent one, we recommend The Black Tux or Generation Tux. Ladies, we look forward to seeing you in stunning floor-length gowns. We kindly ask that white, cream, and ivory hues are reserved for the bride. To add a special touch to our day, we encourage you to choose outfits that reflect our wedding color palette. Let's make this a beautifully coordinated celebration!

We look forward to seeing everyone dressed up and enjoying the festive atmosphere!
